CONTRA/DIZIONI è un gruppo di ricerca dedicato al pensiero femminista e queer attivo dal 2019 all'interno del Dipartimento di Filosofia "Piero Martinetti" dell'Università Statale di Milano.
Il ciclo di incontri coinvolge student-u, dottorand-u e ricercator-u e inaugura un percorso di ricerca e dibattito sul contributo del pensiero femminista e queer al discorso filosofico contemporaneo, mettendo in luce l'apporto originale di queste discipline. Il titolo CONTRA/DIZIONI allude alla caratteristica plurivocità del pensiero femminista e queer, evocando la consapevolezza di rivolgersi a ambiti di pensiero ricchi e dinamici, che fanno della propria non linearità un punto di forza. Crediamo fermamente che questa complessa rete di tradizioni e pensieri, per il suo essere eccentrica rispetto alle istanze normative, abbia molto da dare a chi cerca di esplorare prospettive che non partecipano, o almeno non ingenuamente, alle dinamiche oppressive che informano la contemporaneità.
All'interno dell'Università Statale di Milano, CONTRA/DIZIONI organizza un ciclo triennale di incontri all'interno della Scuola di Dottorato in Filosofia e Scienze dell'Uomo, prima iniziativa di questo tipo finanziata dal Dipartimento. Ogni ciclo si compone di otto incontri tra ottobre e giugno, dedicati a inquadrare alla ricognizione dello stato della ricerca più recente in merito alla tematica annuale. Il gruppo di ricerca organizza diverse altre attività che promuovono lo studio e la ricerca sulla filosofia femminista, la teoria queer, la filosofia politica e l'estetica contemporanea. Obiettivo ulteriore di “CONTRA/DIZIONI” è quello di creare occasioni di incontro e scambio tra ricercator-u, dottorand-u e student-u e avviare collaborazioni tra atenei, dipartimenti e centri di ricerca caratterizzati da sensibilità analoghe.
Nel 2019 CONTRA/DIZIONI ha partecipato al Convegno I SWIP Italia "Filosofia, Genere e Comunicazione Digitale".
ABOUT
CONTRA/DIZIONI is a research group dedicated to feminist and queer thought active since 2019 within the Department of Philosophy "Piero Martinetti" of the State University of Milan.
The cycle of meetings involves students-u, PhDs-u and researchers-u and inaugurates a path of research and debate on the contribution of feminist and queer thought to contemporary philosophical discourse, highlighting the original contribution of these disciplines. The title CONTRA/DIZIONI alludes to the characteristic plurivocity of feminist and queer thought, evoking the awareness of addressing rich and dynamic fields of thought, which make their non-linearity a strong point. We firmly believe that this complex network of traditions and thoughts, for its eccentricity with respect to normative instances, has much to give to those who seek to explore perspectives that do not participate, or at least not naively, in the oppressive dynamics that inform contemporaneity.
Within the State University of Milan, CONTRA/DIZIONI organises a three-year cycle of meetings within the Doctoral School in Philosophy and Human Sciences, the first initiative of this kind funded by the Department. Each cycle consists of eight meetings between October and June, dedicated to surveying the state of the most recent research on the annual theme. The research group organises various other activities that promote study and research on feminist philosophy, queer theory, political philosophy and contemporary aesthetics. A further objective of "CONTRA/DIZIONI" is to create opportunities for researcher-u, doctorand-u and student-u to meet and exchange ideas, and to initiate collaborations between universities, departments and research centres characterised by similar sensitivities.
In 2019, CONTRA/DIZIONI participated in the I SWIP Italia Conference "Philosophy, Gender and Digital Communication".
